Waiver & Media Release

I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event involves certain inherent risks and dangers, both known and unknown, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, collisions, accidents, injuries (minor or serious), illness, emotional distress, property damage, theft, and other hazards. These risks may arise from my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others, the condition of the premises or equipment, or from the negligence of Scuola and its organizers, employees, volunteers, and agents.

I freely, voluntarily, and expressly assume all risks of participation in the Event, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, or death that may result from my participation.

I certify that I am in good physical and mental condition and capable of safely participating in the Event. I affirm that I have no medical conditions or concerns that would endanger myself or others by participating. I agree to follow all health, safety, and behavioral guidelines provided by the Event organizers. I understand that failure to comply may result in my immediate removal from the Event without refund.

In the event of an accident, illness, or emergency, I authorize Scuola and its representatives to secure medical treatment for me, including transportation to a medical facility. I agree to be fully responsible for any costs of such treatment or transportation and waive any claim against Scuola for arranging or providing such care.

I acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for any personal property I bring to the Event. Scuola and its representatives are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, whether resulting from negligence or otherwise.

I understand that the Event may be recorded, photographed, or otherwise documented. I grant Scuola and its representatives the irrevocable right and permission to use my image, likeness, voice, or performance in photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other media taken during the Event for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes, without compensation to me. I waive any right to inspect, approve, or restrict the use of such media.

I agree to comply with all applicable federal, provincial/state, and local laws, as well as all rules, regulations, and policies of Scuola. I understand that any illegal or unsafe behavior may result in my immediate removal from the Event and potential legal consequences.

I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Scuola and its organizers, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, affiliates, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, whether in law or equity, arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims of negligence, gross negligence, or breach of duty by the Released Parties.

I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my conduct, actions, or participation in the Event.

I acknowledge that this Waiver and Release is intended to be as broad as permitted by applicable law. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of [insert applicable jurisdiction].

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have carefully read this document, fully understand its contents, and agree to its terms. I am aware that by signing this waiver I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue, and I sign it voluntarily and of my own free will.
